Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19: 21 NIV

Sometimes, things don’t happen the way we plan. Circumstances create challenges in our lives. Worry disrupts the heart of our routine. And, in hectic moments of wonder, we forget God has already planned our days.

We were created to be used for His purpose. God readies us to rise. He opens our hearts to welcome peace and longs for us to be led by His will. Often, we lose sight of the One who gives us HOPE. Fear creates anxiety of what’s to come. But, Jesus lifts us with His arms of strength. And, while we discover how it feels to be held, He carries us in calm.

The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Read Proverbs 3: 5) We don’t have to figure out everything on our own. God is in charge of our days. He WILL guide and provide. Jesus will remind us who is working for the good. He will help us find courage and show us how to remain faithful; when we surrender to Him and TRUST He will handle our days.

We are lucky to have a Savior who knows how to humble our hearts. If we examine our lives and recognize weakness, we will find strength to move along. God will reveal His will in the timing of His plan. “We must never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” No matter what we are going through, God IS with us. Our loving Father knows what will happen tomorrow. We must not waste time worrying today.

Dear God, Thank you for the love of Your faithfulness. Forgive us when fear creates worry and doubt. Thank you for opening our eyes, so we can focus on Jesus and find strength in Your amazing grace. We will trust in You, as we’re guided by greatness. And, we will find HOPE for what’s to come, as we learn to remain faithful. Amen
