Learning to be Patient...
When we begin to understand where God is leading, we sometimes become impatient. We must remember it takes time for God to prepare us.
It is hard to be patient and wait on the Lord. He knows our hearts, and He knows what we need. Often we feel our prayers are being left unanswered, when we don’t move toward the place we want to arrive.
God has reason for us to be patient. We learn to humble ourselves, preserve and become stronger. God reveals His will for our lives, and fills us with desire to serve Him with a heart that has learned to feel grateful.
God guides and provides. He lovingly leads us toward His will, and takes time to make us aware we are being led. As we accept the assignments of our hearts, we begin to understand it is God who sets the stage to complete His good work in us.
When we stand in awe and consider where God will allow us to arrive, we discover what it means to faithfully trust He will move us ahead. The Bible says,“ For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on you own understanding” are words which can bring peace to the hearts of those who become impatient. And, when we totally learn to trust in God, we begin to understand He will not allow us to miss out on opportunities He has already planned for us to discover.
Be patient friends… God is near and He loves YOU,
