A Path of Purpose

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 NIV

God wants us to walk with Him, but sometimes we move too fast. He guides us in His will and longs for us to take time to recognize what waits to be discovered. God leads us on a path of purpose, but not before He has prepared our hearts to understand we are being led.

Sometimes our eyes cannot focus on what’s ahead. We become blinded in unfamiliar territory, and forget to trust in the One who leads us where He wants us to arrive.

God can lead us on a path of righteousness. He doesn’t promise there will not be obstacles along the way, but He does promise He will always walk with us. He guides and provides for us, as we faithfully follow Him and learn to walk with the One who knows where we’re going.

 How will you choose to allow God to guide your heart? Will you trust in the One who waits to walk side by side? I pray you will understand the journey is so much better, when you trust with all your heart and recognize you do not have to travel alone.

Lord, you have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Psalm 16:11

Dear God, As we walk ahead in our lives, help us follow the path which leads to You. Thank you for loving us and providing for our needs. “Open the eyes of our hearts" and remind us to take time to see You in everything we do, as we learn to walk together. Amen
