When Changes Come

Summer will soon disappear. Leaves of green will begin to display their  beautiful colors of fall, and remind us cooler weather is on the way. Fall is a favorite season for many. It brings opportunities for a change of pace and sets the stage for what is to come.

Often, we look forward to changes in our lives, but sometimes change is not welcomed. It disrupts our routines and causes us to forget God is in control.

We often want to look ahead and anticipate what God will provide. But, sometimes we become leery and look back to the place we have known content. We forget to trust in the One who is ready to help us find comfort as we move ahead again.

We are capable of dealing with change. God knows we’re able to handle life’s ups and downs. Through significant moments in our lives, He changes our hearts and helps us understand we are being led by His grace. And, He opens our eyes to discover His great reward.

We must try to accept the many changes which will occur in our lives and remember God has a plan for each one. If we will only trust in Him, He will guide us through the seasons of change and reveal why they have prepared us for what is to come.

There is a time for everything,  and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

God is near and He loves YOU,

Nan

  1. Nan, thank you for an inspiring post! And the graphic is beautiful.....
We all experience change along the way. God blesses us with welcome change that brings joy into our lives. And His grace is sufficient to deal with change that we accept with reluctance.
He never changes.....that truth carries us through all life's changes.
God bless you and your family.
Have a day that makes you smile.
