“Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.” Daniel 10:19 NIV 

Before God gives strength and power, He allows us to recognize we are weak. Sometimes, we’re not ready to deal with circumstances which are difficult. But, God knows the heart of all situations. He allows us to discover His peace, when we have learned to recognize strength comes from Him. 

We need God’s mighty presence in our lives. As we begin to trust in the plans He has for our days, He leads us where we learn to open our hearts and patiently wait on His greatness. 

God will remind us there is NOTHING He will not handle. We must trust in Him and put out hope in the One who will always take care of us.

Dear God, We are weak, but You remind us hope is found in You. As we wait to be strengthened by Your love, help us examine our lives and learn how it feels to trust. We will wait for perfect peace to lead us to a place of calm. And, we will welcome content when we have learned what it means to be grateful. Amen
