“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6 NIV
Life often brings changes of circumstance in our lives. We struggle to cope with unexpected situations and become anxious in wonder of what will happen next. But, God longs for us to prayerfully remain faithful and remember He knows our EVERY need. He longs for us to call on Him and BELIEVE He will hear answer our prayers.
God provides in His time and for His great purpose. “If He leads us to
it, HE WILL lead us through it.” Our mighty Provider knows the plans He
has for our lives. And, when the human side of weakness tries to rob us
of our calm, God finds the way to fill us with strength and remind us
why we must keep on going…
In difficult moments, Christ leads us to the cross. And, when we have been humbled by of our needs, He reminds us why His suffering was so much more than the pain of our doubt. He helps us realize God knows our hearts. HE sends the offering of hope to cover us in comfort and helps us remember why we must learn to trust.
Shouldn’t we learn to be patient, while God prepares us for His will? He will reward the love of our faithfulness and remind us why His strength is made perfect in weakness. “We must never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” He WILL help us deal with the changes in our lives. He WILL arm us with everything we need to recognize we're not alone. And, He WILL handle the happenings of our days. He is a good, good Father!
Dear God, Thank you for waking us to all You provide. YOU are faithful! Forgive us when we doubt Your presence in our lives. Remind us who is in charge, every moment of our days. Help us learn to be patient while we wait on You, so we will discover HOPE in the healing wholeness of Your everlasting love. Amen
