I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 NIV

God wants us to walk with Him, but often we become blinded in unfamiliar territory. We forget to trust the One who knows where we’ll arrive. We have trouble focusing on what’s ahead and need to be reminded there IS a plan for our days.

God longs for us to see what waits to be discovered when we’re ready to be led. He opens our eyes to His will and prepares us to remember there WILL be obstacles ahead. He guides us through the bumps in the road and reminds us to “hold on tight”, when we're faced with despair.

We must learn to trust the One who provides HOPE for the future. "If He leads us to it, He will lead us through it”, if we faithfully follow. He will lift us from the darkness of doubt and shine His light of love where we travel. And, He will prepare us to find His strength. 

God knows exactly where we’re going. We must believe the journey will be better if we faithfully follow and recognize why we will NEVER have to travel alone. He is a good, good Father!

Lord, you have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Psalm 16:11

Dear God, As we walk ahead in our lives, guide us on the path which leads to You. YOU love us and provide for our needs. Open our eyes, so we will be reminded to seek You with all of our hearts. And, help us remember who will handle EACH and EVERY moment of our days. Amen
