“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Cold days of winter are coming. It’s hard to prepare our hearts, when we’re not ready to welcome what’s to come. But, God is in charge of the weather and we are in charge of accepting what He chooses to provide.  

Sometimes, He offers blue-sky days of sunshine good. And, sometimes dark-sky days of clouded gray fill us with weathered thoughts of despair. But, God sees each day as perfect. He offers us His gift of light and allows us to use it for His glory. 

Weather won't prepare us to embrace what’s to come. God will prepare us to find purpose in EVERY single day, as we walk with Him. He will provide strength for EVERY season of our lives and remind us there's a plan for our days.

God’s golden light will warm and prepare us to welcome whatever He provides. The sun will shine with greater reward, if we patiently wait for cold, dark days to disappear. We must TRUST in the One who will shine His light, even on the darkest days of our weathered doubt. 

God is near and He loves US. He’s a good, good Father!

Dear God, Thank you for warming us in the light of Your love. Open our hearts to Your will, so we will receive the glory of Your greatness. Warm us in the presence of Your love and help us never forget; joy WILL come when we choose to find strength in YOU. Amen
