“You can tell what they are by what they do” Matthew 7:16 CEV

God longs for us to encourage and help one another. When we serve the Lord with gladness, it creates meaningful thanksgiving. We learn to experience joy when we share the heart of Christ and make a difference in the lives of others.

God prepares us to share His love. But, often we tire of doing what is good. We forget even the smallest gestures bring the greatest reward. God uses us and prepares us to recognize why our service to Him is more than an obligation.

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10 NIV

If we reflect the love of Christ, surely others will see Him in what we do. God will be glorified, if we work to bless the Father in opportunities He provides. He will use us for His glory. And, if we serve Him with a faithful heart of love, surely He will bless us when we bless the lives of others.

Dear God, Thank you for Your love. Help us develop the heart of a servant, as we learn to respond to the needs of those around us. We will honor You with our hearts, as we’re prepared to be used for Your greatness. And, we will never forget; when we serve others, we are serving YOU. Amen
