And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 ESV 

Christ nurtures a peaceful heart when He leads us to the Father. He removes distractions of the world and blesses those who find purpose in the presence of peace. He opens our minds to the power of mercy and grace. And, in tender moments of grateful praise, we recognize how to be covered by His love. 

Some will not surrender and wait for perfect peace. They will dwell in the frailties of life and miss precious opportunities to be led to a place of calm. But, God will remind us He is near. He will pull us from the ditches of doubt and demonstrate the depth of His holiness. And, when we have learned to trust, He will help us discover how it feels to be comforted by faith. 

Christ will remain in our hearts, when we remain in Him. He will grow our faith and remind us why His strength is made perfect in weakness.Then, we will find rest when we take time to seek Him with all of our hearts and gratefully receive the offering of our Father’s love. 

Dear God, Thank you for STRENGTH. Thank you for Jesus! We will seek You with all of our hearts and acknowledge Your holiness. We will welcome perfect peace and understand why we must praise You in ALL things. Amen
