“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV

God is our ever present help in time of need. He prepares us to recognize our weakness and readies us to remember STRENGTH will come when we learn how to trust.   

There will be moments in our lives when we will feel tired, weary and uncertain. But, in times of wonder, God will arm us with the power of love. He will provide the way to find relief, even in the midst of difficult days of doubt. He will renew us and help us understand His STRENGTH is made perfect in our weakness.

Christ will allow us to feel His presence. And, in moments to be held by the HOPE in our hearts, we will discover His love. He will help us understand the depth of His greatness and set the stage for perfect peace to dwell.  

Jesus will teach us to persevere, when weakness robs our strength. He will hold us for a while. And, when we have been calmed in His care, He will comfort us in love and remind us how it feels to be renewed. 

Dear God, Thank you for strength which comes from You. Forgive us when we forget to TRUST in the love of Your faithfulness. We know who handles our days. When weary thoughts fill us with despair, give us COURAGE to keep on going...And, teach us to remember; Your peace will prepare us to put our HOPE in You. Amen
