Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 NIV
God’s beautiful gifts wait to rise from layers of hardened ground. They long to be nourished by warmer days of spring and grown by the offering of God’s love.
God prepares us
to bloom. He lovingly tends the garden of our lives, even before His
seeds have had a chance to grow. The Master Planter pours hope in our
hearts. And, when the timing is right, He strengthens the love of our
faithfulness.
We cannot see through hardened layers of our lives. During times of wonder, we become impatient as we wait for better days to come. But, God knows when we will bloom. He readies us to rise in His greatness and takes time to nurture the heart of our growth. He teaches to appreciate what waits to be discovered and provides the way for us to learn how it feels to trust.
We must WAIT for the sun to shine on gloomy days of doubt. For, if we are patient, God will set the stage for what’s to come. He will provide glimpses of what’s ahead and remind us who is handling our days.
God will pour strength in our hearts, while we WAIT to be rewarded by His faithfulness. He will help us remember why we must never forget to trust in the timing of His plan for our lives.
Dear God, Thank you for moments to remember we are being grown by You. Forgive us when we become impatient while we wait. Allow faith to flourish, as we are prepare our hearts to welcome Your peace and learn how it feels to find strength in You. Amen
