The Wise Men followed the star God placed in the sky. It guided them to the Christ Child. They were filled with joy and worshiped Him. God prepared them to discover His gift to the world. And, He prepares us to receive the Savior.

Sometimes the journey is long and we forget God guides and provides for our days. But, when we allow ourselves to be led, He opens our hearts to the guiding of His will and prepares us for what’s to come.

God leads us to a prayer of praise when we have been humbled. He fills us with strength for today and shows us where to find Jesus. He offers His love and waits while we offer ourselves to Him. And, in quiet moments of truth, He takes away the distractions in our lives and shows us how to welcome perfect peace.    

Let us worship the One who was sent to save and humbly recognize His presence in our lives. We will find Him, if we open our hearts wide enough and gratefully receive the gift of His everlasting love.

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus! Open our hearts and show us which way to go, as we seek the Savior and praise You for Your gift to the world!  Lead us by Your will and hold us together, as we gratefully welcome the present of His presence in our lives. Bring peace to our hearts, as we reflect on the first Christmas and help us never forget how lucky we are to be loved by You.  Amen
