Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayers and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 6-7

Peace that is plentiful...How can we find it? In quiet moments of need, we call on the Savior to hear our prayers and fill us with His offering of love. Jesus opens our hearts to the presence of peace. He patiently waits for us to welcome it. 

Perfect peace surpasses all understanding. We will never fully comprehend how God will choose to provide it. But, He will find the way. He will help us feel the power of His love and we will be blessed to discover what waits for each one of us. 

When God has filled us with His presence of peace, we will begin to understand what it means to embrace a heart of calm. We will trust the One who guides us and we will remember we are worthy of His love. 

Dear God, Teach us to trust in Your mighty strength. We will seek You with all of our hearts and recognize the depth of Your holiness. Fill us with praise, as we find hope in the promise of Your everlasting love. And, lead us where we will be reminded; peace WILL flow, when we embrace the gift of a grateful heart. Amen
