Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. Romans 8: 18 TLB

God’s will was fulfilled when Jesus chose His path and suffered. Jesus led the way to the hill where He would die. The weight of the world rested on His shoulders. In obedience to God, He demonstrated LOVE for each and every one of us.

Sometimes, we don’t think of passion as suffering. But when we prayerfully seek the Savior and reflect on ALL He has done, we begin to understand Jesus willingly accepted God’s will. In Him we see passion for God.

God knows our suffering. As we prepare to welcome Easter, the passion of Jesus becomes clearer. As we seek the Savior, God provides the way to humble our hearts for Him. He helps us consider if we will accept God’s direction in our lives and choose to faithfully follow.

The path may not be easy, but God IS with us! He will remind us to put our trust in Him. We will never experience the depth of suffering that Jesus endured. The One who died in our place proved how much we are loved.

God will provide mercy and grace. We will find strength in the Father. And, because of Easter, we will find HOPE in Him.

Dear God, Thank you for your love for us. Help us find HOPE in the passion of Jesus. Humble our hearts so we will understand what it means to suffer. And, help us remember; what we endure will bring honor to You, if we gratefully acknowledge the glory of Easter. Amen
