He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29 NIRV

God provides strength when we need to be readied to rise. He arms us with the power of love and helps us learn how it feels to trust. Sometimes, He requires us to wait for a while, so we will feel His presence of peace and receive what He chooses to provide.

We find God’s strength when we have the courage to recognize we need it. It's not always easy to consider we’re not strong. But, in moments to reward the love of our faithfulness, God opens our hearts in truth. He helps us see beneath the layers of ourselves, so we can examine our lives and understand why His strength is made stronger in our weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

God will humble us. And, while we are held in moments of need, He will lift us right where we are. He will help us see the need for His mercy and delight in the prayers of our hearts. He will increase our strength and remind us to patiently wait on Him. And while we are cradled in care, He will fill us full of everything we need, so we will be much stronger than before.

Dear God, Thank you for mercy and grace. Thank you for humbling our hearts, so we will recognize the need for Your holiness. We will trust You all the days of our lives and find STRENGTH in the promise of Your everlasting love. And, we will learn how it feels to be very, very GRATEFUL. Amen
