Run in such a way that you may obtain the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24
God prepares us for the race of our lives. He teaches to be patient. He provides strength as we learn to trust and helps us recognize what it means to be faithful. He knows what will happen next. He reminds us there will be obstacles along the way and provides courage to move ahead. He teaches to faithfully TRUST.
Jesus gives us desire to keep on going, as we learn to walk with Him.
He reminds us what needs to be done before we learn to run. He shows
which way to go when we choose to persevere and demonstrates the power
of God’s mighty love.
God sets the stage for us to recognize when we're ready to GO! He has a plan for our days. He knows where we will arrive. And, if we choose to gather strength from His holiness, He will renew our souls. He will provide what we need to make us stronger.
We must run to obtain the prize! We must fight the good fight of faith. It will not be awarded for our good works or determined by how fast we run. God holds what will motivate us to keep on going. He will teach us how to live of our lives, so we will be blessed by the crown of eternal reward.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Dear God, Sometimes it’s hard for us to see what’s ahead. Thank you for holding the prize which motivates us to keep going... As we learn to trust in the strength of Jesus, prepare us to focus on You. Help us remember what must be done to receive Your eternal reward. Amen
