So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 1 Corinthians 3: 7 NIV

God lovingly tends the garden of our lives and prepares us to bloom. He chooses where we are planted and provides what we need to be nourished by the presence of His love. He allows us to flourish in the timing of His will and helps us learn how it feels to TRUST.

God sets the stage for each new season of our lives. In difficult days, He prepares us to open our hearts and receive the power of His love. He reminds us to be patient as we anxiously wait to rise. And, He shows how it feels to be nurtured by Him.

Days of gray will pass. God will ready our hearts to welcome what has been missing. Green will become greener. Weathered soil will grow new life. Blue-Sky days will once again bless us. And, God will remind us why He is faithful, if we patiently trust.

The Bible says, “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3: 1 God needs time to grow us, so we will recognize there is reason for the seasons of our lives. The Maker of EVERY living thing knows the plans He has for our days.

God will remind us who’s in charge of ALL things. He will remain faithful as He readies us to rise. When the timing is right, He will prepare us for what’s to come and show how to cultivate a peaceful heart of praise. He WILL bless those who patiently wait to be perfectly grown by Him.

Dear God, Thank you for loving us, even in our weathered days of doubt. You call us to rise and breathe new life in the heart of our weakness. We will gratefully wait to be grown by Your greatness. And, we will remain faithful all the days of our lives. Amen
