Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90: 12 NIV

Sometimes, we forget who has already planned our days. We need to be reminded to ask for wisdom. God pulls us toward His greatness, but often we don’t feel His arms of strength. We try and handle life on our own and forget who’s in charge of our days.

God handles our lives. He longs for us to allow the Savior to navigate our steps. He readies us to seek Him and prepares us to remember the journey will be easier if we choose to faithfully follow.

Psalm 39:4-5 says, “Show me, LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.

We will not live on earth forever. God loved us enough to send Jesus to the world; not to condemn, but to bring HOPE for eternal life. Our salvation is something we must treasure. If we pray for wisdom, God will help us examine our hearts. He will show us how to honor Him. He will grow us and allow us to do great things…

God is worthy of our love! We must respond to Him and humbly obey. If we ask, He will help us gain a heart of truth. God is great and He is good. He will handle our days and ready us for what’s to come. We must prayerfully seek Him and always choose to trust. He will guide us every day of our lives and bring peace to the heart of our thankfulness.

Dear God, Thank you for moments to feel the power of Your strength. We will find hope as we’re guided by Your WORD. Thank you for what You provide for our lives, as we’re guided by You. Help us fix our eyes on Jesus, so we will embrace a humble heart and use our time wisely. Amen
