“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

There's a weary place in the hearts of those who long to find PEACE. It's an empty space that will never be filled by what the world has to offer. It allows fear to fester where HOPE can't dwell and it nurtures the sores of all weakness.

Before Jesus died, He told His disciples NOT to be troubled and afraid. He provided PEACE to calm the minds of men and asked that they maintain it even after He was gone. He told them to find PEACE with one another and discover PEACE from our mighty God.

JESUS provides hope and comfort when we experience life in Him. And, He continues to provide PEACE for today. He helps us connect with the Father and receive the offering of love. He reminds us what to expect when we open our hearts to His will.

Jesus is our precious companion! He will guide us by the strength of the Father. He will show us how to find rest from our submission to God. He will humble us in holiness, pour calm in our hearts and lead us to a prayer of praise. If we allow ourselves to be blessed by the power of love, God will help us remember how to find His strength. Then, PEACE will come when we learn to faithfully trust.

Dear God, Thank you for reminding us to praise You in ALL circumstances. Forgive us when worry festers in our hearts and we forget You are so much bigger than our fear. Help us embrace a humble heart of praise, so we will welcome PEACE and calm. We will honor the love of Your faithfulness while we're cradled in care. And, we will find calm, when we have been filled by the presence of Your amazing grace. Amen
