Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV

Jesus meets us where we are. He patiently waits to prepare us to greet the Father. And while we are focused on the presence of His love, He asks us to sit for a while and feel the power of His presence in our lives.

There’s much to learn while we sit with Jesus. The One who brought light to the darkness also lightens our loads. The Bible says, Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

In gloomy days of doubt, God reminds us to patiently wait for better days to come. He hears the humble prayers of the righteous. And, when we are able to clearly see what waits to be discovered, He allows us to recognize why we are stronger than we think.

Christ leads us to the Father. And, even when we don’t know what to pray, He knows our every need. He fills the empty spaces of our hearts and reminds us who’s in charge of ALL things. In moments to share His power of His strength, He helps us remember why we must learn how to TRUST.

We cannot know what tomorrow will bring, but we can have peace in knowing Christ is with us. He will guide and provide all the days of our lives and He will lead us to the Father. God has a plan for our days. If He leads us to it, surely He will lead us through all that waits to be discovered in His time and for His great purpose.

Dear God, Thank you for reminding us your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Teach us to trust in You and never doubt the plans you have for our lives. We will faithfully follow Jesus and open our hearts to His guiding of our days. And, we will remember to trust in His mighty power to save. Amen
