God loves us! He
readies us to be led by His greatness. He prepares us to welcome Jesus.
And when we have been humbled by His offering of love, He opens the eyes
of our hearts to know the Savior. He reminds us to be faithful and
TRUST.
Christmas renews us. It provides opportunities to reflect on Christ's birth and discover God’s plans for our days. It is a time to find peace and promise in the power of His everlasting love. And, it is a gift to learn how to prayerfully praise!
God will handle our days. He will teach us to be patient in the timing of His will. And, if we learn to be still, distractions won’t rob us of His joy. God will lead us to a prayer of praise when we begin to trust. He will help us discover how it feels to be patient in the timing of His will.
If we open our hearts a little wider, we will recognize why we need the Savior. He will help us remember to keep Christmas alive EVERY day. When we have learned how it feels to be held in holiness, God will remind us how it feels to be cradled in care. Aren’t we lucky to have a Father who loves us so much? Glory to God and on earth peace and good will toward men!
Dear God, Thank you for the love of Your faithfulness. Thank you for the power of Your will. Open our hearts to the plan You have for our lives and help us remember where to find perfect peace. Silence the distractions in our lives and help us find calm while we’re cradled in Your care. Humble our hearts to welcome the Savior every day of our lives and lead us to a tender prayer of praise! Amen
