Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. I Corinthians 15:58

Sometimes we become frustrated when there’s work to be done. We feel our efforts are not being appreciated. But, in times of doubt, we can find comfort in recognizing God is pleased when we work for Him. He fills us with a sense of purpose. He assigns tasks to become passions of the heart and gives us reason to glorify Him.

God can do what man cannot. He shows us we are valued for our worth. He helps us see ourselves as He sees us; capable and able to do GREAT things. He helps us remember who plans our days and gives hope for the future. He reminds us we are faithfully loved.

The Bible says, whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Colossians 3:23 NIV reminds us why our most important job is working for the Lord.

God will bless us in ways we never could have imagined. He will transform us and help us remember who plans our days. He will prepare us for His will. And, when we use the gifts of His greatness, He will help us welcome JOY. He will allow us to embrace a grateful heart of purpose and bless us in ways we never imagined.

God love us! When we begin to realize how to work for Him, He will reward the labors of our love. He will remind us we are valued and worthy. He will help us complete the tasks before us. We must not doubt our ability to serve God with all of our hearts. He will prepare us to do amazing things. He WILL open the door of opportunity and bless us when we learn to totally TRUST.

Dear God, Thank you for work you provide for our lives. You help us find purpose for the gifts we receive. You are mighty and holy. Help us remember to serve you with a grateful heart, so we will open our eyes in truth and recognize reward will always come when we choose to work for YOU. Amen
