Life doesn’t always happen as planned. Sometimes, we become frustrated by unexpected circumstances that lead us far away from calm. Our faith is tested to the limit and we’re weakened by worry in our lives.
When God
moves us through the valleys, He provides everything we need to find
hope in His STRENGTH. He shows how it feels to TRUST. He humbles our
hearts to focus on Him and prepares us to handle the climb.
When we feel PEACE in His presence, God shows what needs to be done. He opens our eyes and readies us to journey with Him. He reminds us why He IS so much BIGGER than our fear.
The Bible says, “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 18. God is greater than anything we will have to conquer. He has great plans for our days! He will strengthen our hearts and reward the prayers of our praise.
There WILL always be mountains to climb. But, God will move us along. He will lift us when we fall. He will cradle us in care and guide us back where we belong. And He will set our feet on solid ground, so we can keep on going…
When our hearts have been humbled, God will show how it feels to welcome the blessing of a grateful heart. He is worthy of PRAISE. He is worthy of LOVE. There will never be a day without His greatness. His strength will always “bring us up!”
Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your everlasting love. Forgive us when we forget YOU are much bigger than the mountains we must climb. We will put our faith in You and focus on the gifts of Your greatness. We will give YOU praise, as You remove our fear and help us remember we will NEVER have to journey alone. Amen
