The LORD is near to all them that call on Him, to all that call on Him in truth. Psalm 145:18

Jesus opens our hearts to pray. In gentle moments of truth, He readies us to welcome perfect peace. He waits for us to gratefully be reminded why strength comes from the prayers of our praise.

Sometimes prayer becomes habitual. We speak familiar words, but neglect to humbly seek the Father. We forget how it feels to examine our hearts and have trouble admitting we're weak. But God helps us find strength in the power of His love. He provides for our needs as we learn to trust and faithfully surrender.

When prayers are spoken in truth, God blesses us. He bandages wounds and meets us right where we are. He heals sores of the soul and reminds us who is handling our days. He opens our eyes to the calm of His presence and helps us remember to PRAY. He is the One who handles ALL things! GOD is near to those who call on Him. We mustn't worry. He hears our prayers! God will ALWAYS take care of those He loves.

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence. Forgive us when we neglect to prayerfully honor You. Help us examine our hearts, so we will recognize the need for mercy and grace. Help us find strength in Your mighty love, so we will remember who's deserving of our praise. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
