He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10 NIV

Life moves quickly and we're not always ready to welcome the season of joy. Holiday routines are stressful with lists of things that need to be done! But God readies us to feel the quiet of calm. He reminds us to be still and feel the love of our Savior. He helps us embrace CALM Christmas peace.

Now, more than ever we need to remember Christmas is more than gifts we tie with a bow. Presents piled under the tree are nice, but we mustn't forget, God has already given the greatest gift to us! We can open the present of His presence and receive everything we need to welcome Christmas CALM.

Jesus brought light to the darkness! CALM came when He was delivered to the world and held by the strength of the Father. We can find HOPE, as we patiently wait in TRUST. God will help us feel the depth of His holiness, as we open our hearts for Him and choose to gratefully receive.

If we take time to remember WHY we celebrate, God will bless us. He will help us find CALM for today and strength for tomorrow. He will remind us why peace comes from the Savior. And we will find JOY when we open the GREATEST GIFT and love it forever.

Dear God, thank you for moments of perfect peace when we are quiet and still in the presence of Your holiness. Help us humble our hearts and receive Your greatest gift to the world! Thank you, for sending Jesus! We will welcome Him with grateful hearts of praise and lift our eyes to YOU! Amen
