“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14 NIV

Mary waited for the Lord. While she lovingly prepared for the birth of our Savior, she allowed God to guide her. In the midst of worry and wonder, He showed His presence in her life. He provided a path of purpose and prepared her to welcome Jesus.

God blesses our faithfulness. He nurtures strength and provides PEACE to sustain us. He helps us welcome Christmas calm and leads by the power of His will. He guides with mercy and grace and reminds us to be patient. While we WAIT on Him, He readies us for the plans He has for our days.

God demonstrates His power when fear tries to steal our calm. He provides PEACE when we need to be reminded who's in charge of ALL things. He helps us faithfully TRUST. He humbles our hearts for good to prevail and shows how to welcome JOY.

God will lead us on a path of purpose as we faithfully follow. He will ready us to receive the Savior and open our hearts for Him. He will guide us, even if we don't know where we're going. And He will help us remember why just like Mary, we will never travel alone...

Dear God, thank you for Christmas and HOPE that comes from YOU. Open our hearts, so we will make room for Jesus. Calm us with the breath of heaven and cover us in Your holiness as we faithfully TRUST in YOU. We will welcome JOY that comes from Your greatness. And we will never forget how lucky we are to be loved by YOU. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for allowing us to see what happens when we find courage to remember we will be blessed for our patience. Amen
