Whoever says He abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked. 1 John 2:6

“As a believer in Christ we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. We have the power to change.” God speaks to us ALL of the time. He leads us by His Spirit and allows us to recognize His voice. And when we’re still in His presence of His love, He allows us to hear when we carefully listen...

God wants us to humble our hearts for Jesus and understand what comes from obedience; our willingness to do what is right and respond to the tugging of our hearts. Sometimes we become distracted and it’s hard to hear the voice of truth. But when we choose to listen, God speaks in ways we understand. As we draw closer to Christ and choose to receive Him, we become aware of His presence in our lives.
We begin to realize why we want to live a life that is pleasing to God.

The Bibles says, God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding. John 37:5 NIV God helps us in our daily walk with Jesus. He helps us examine our lives. He tugs at the source of our weakness and knows how to handle our days. He provides tools to arm us with everything we need to grow in our knowledge of Jesus. He leads us by His WORD and helps us develop an understanding of why we NEED the Savior.

We are restless souls in a world that is not perfect, But God sent Jesus to save us. He knows how to rescue and bring PEACE to those who recognize what comes from service, patience, compassion and love. Jesus brought HOPE to a world of darkness. As we become more like Him, the world will see God’s love though us.

Philippians 2: 5-8 says, as you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did. In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact. Instead, he made himself nothing. He did this by taking on the nature of a servant. He was made just like human beings. He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross! Philippians 2: 5-8 NIRV

As we humble our hearts for the One who died in our place, we will want to be more like Jesus; precious Jesus. May God bless us with peace as we continue to step in a world that is not perfect and choose to remember we will never walk alone. May we greet each day with praise for our Savior and strive to understand what comes from FAITH and TRUST. May we never be ashamed to admit how desperately we NEED Jesus in our lives. And may we open our hearts to welcome what is ours if we choose to receive it. ♥

Dear God, thank you for Jesus. Oh, how we need to love Him with ALL of our hearts! Help us listen with patience as You speak in marvelous ways, so we will recognize what comes from surrender. Help us examine our lives, so we will realize why WE NEED THE SAVIOR. As we draw closer to Him, we will find purpose in ALL You provide. Thank you for HOPE for the eternal promise of what’s to come. We will faithfully trust in YOU and open our hearts to become more like Jesus. Thank you, Lord. We will give You the glory in ALL things. Amen
