For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

God plans in the timing of His will and longs for us to feel His guiding. He patiently waits for us to receive ALL He provides. He longs for us to remember HE IS WITH US, but sometimes we’re too busy to notice how He orchestrates our lives.  

He arms us with everything we need. God sets the stage for what’s to come and guides us toward fulfillment. He grows our faith as we learn to TRUST and recognize who gives us wisdom.  

He removes the worry of wonder so we can focus on TODAY and STOP stressing about what might happen tomorrow. He helps us learn to appreciate each moment and remember who takes GOOD care of us.

Soon, we will be turning the page on the last day of the year! Perhaps we need to embrace the relief of a new beginning. But for now, we must continue to persevere and TRUST in the plans God has for our days. 

January will come soon enough, but we must be patient. God will continue to use us in mighty ways. His plans are for GOOD and not for disaster. If we pray for guidance, He will help us examine our hearts and keep us grounded by faith.  

JESUS will nurture us with His offering of love and help us find HOPE that we need. He will provide calm in His presence EVERY day of our lives. If we take time to welcome the Savior, we will discover the JOY of Christmas PEACE. It will hold us together while we wait for better days to come.   

Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 NIV

Dear God, thank you for opportunities to grow in Your greatness. Thank you for ALL You provide. Help us remember who plans our days and gives purpose to our lives.  You are mighty, holy and worthy of praise!  Help us feel the presence of PEACE and welcome Christmas joy. Remind us why each day has a purpose of its own. Thank you for taking care of us and loving us through every moment of our lives. Thank you for the love of Jesus. Amen
