May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15: 13

We attend holiday functions, purchase gifts and exhaust ourselves in celebration of a day that passes too quickly. And when all is said and done, there’s often an empty feeling when we have to say, “goodbye” to Christmas.

God sent His Son for MORE than one day of recognition. We tend to forget He prepares us to receive Him EVERY day of our lives. Jesus came to bring hope, peace and joy to our hearts. God provided a miracle and Jesus came to earth! He knows the human side of weakness. We DON’T ever have to say “goodbye” to the present of His presence.

God helps us understand how to joyfully anticipate the gift of Jesus. He helps us find strength in EVERY situation. He guides us toward His greatness when we choose to follow Him. Only He can show us how to find perfect peace and recognize we don't have to live without it.

Jesus JOY isn’t found under the Christmas Tree. It’s not packaged for only a day to make us feel happy. God’s love is everlasting! His gift to the world is offered to each one of us! We must open our hearts and make room for the offering of His love and faithfully be ready to receive.

God will set the stage for what’s to come. He knows the needs of His children. We must trust in Him, BELIEVE in the power of His love and NEVER forget who WILL handle ALL things. We mustn’t be sad to say “goodbye” to Christmas! “Joy to the world, the Lord has come “. Let us praise Him for His everlasting presence and be joyful! He is near. He is HERE, EVERY DAY of our lives.

Dear God, thank you for Christmas and the time we’ve enjoyed to draw closer to You. Thank- you for the fulfillment of abundant joy. Help us embrace a grateful heart for Jesus, so we will treasure the gift of His amazing grace and remember why we will NEVER have to be without it. Help us keep HOPE in our hearts and walk on the path of PEACE You pave for each one of us as we TRUST in You and continue to step in faith. Amen
