Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT 

Sometimes we feel weighted by the world, unprepared to handle effects of war. Battles rage within us as Satan tries to pull us away from the Lord. We become weary when we forget God is the Keeper of our hearts. He is the one who heals wounds of weakness. 

James 4:7-8 says, “So humble yourself before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God and God will come close to you.” We need to bask in this promise of truth and allow Him to do what needs to be done to restore our souls.

God waits for us to acknowledge His presence and embrace the fullness of love. The Creator of heaven and earth longs for us to seek Him, turn from our selfish ways and recognize His authority. He has the power to heal our land and bandage sores of the soul.    

God hears our prayers. He opens our eyes and helps us focus on the One who knows about suffering. He covers us with amazing grace and reminds us to honor the One who died in our place! He humbles our hearts for Jesus and reminds us who came to bring PEACE and HOPE for our eternal salvation. 

We will all fall short of the glory of God and long to find courage and STRENGTH. Our Father will help us bravely admit we are weak and arm us with everything we need to TRUST in the power of His plan. 

God is passionate that the spirit He has placed in us should help us be faithful to Him. Read James 4: 5-6. He WILL help us in time of need and remind us HE is HERE, waiting to hear from us. He will grow our FAITH as we seek Him with all of our love. God will fulfill His will and take care of His children.

We mustn't hold back from surrendering doubt. God will do great things when we humble our hearts, pray for the healing of our souls, turn from our selfish ways and BELEIEVE He will fix what is broken.   

Dear God, we honor Your authority over heaven and earth and welcome the power of Your strength. Humble our hearts for the goodness of Your love. Help us surrender the worry of fear and make room for courage and peace. Please help us turn from selfish ways, faithfully follow Jesus and BELIEVE in Your power to save. Thank you for ALL You provide. You help us remember what needs to be done to fix what is broken in us. Thank you for knowing what we need to breathe in the fullness of truth. Amen
