“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, NIV)

We will never be able to measure the depth of God’s love. He cares for us in so MANY ways. He guides, provides and handles our days. But sometimes we forget He keeps His promises.

God knows when we’re not feeling strong. He sees tears that fall and reminds us WHY we need the Savior. He longs to bring relief and help us find comfort and calm. The Bible says, The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18. 

We have precious opportunities to experience what happens when we stop letting fear diminish our need for God. When we wake feeling fragile, God already knows the beautiful ways He will bless us when we TRUST in Him.  

He has a plan for our lives! In the timing of His will, God will teach us patience as we soak in His WORD and welcome STRENGTH. We must be ready to RECEIVE with a heart that refuses to let fear replace GOD’s promise for PEACE. The joy of the Lord is our STRENGTH. He will ALWAYS help us find it. 

Dear God, You bless us in so many ways! Forgive us when we become distracted and forget to TRUST in YOU. We believe in Your promise to take care of us when we’re feeling weary and worn. Thank you for the LOVE of Jesus and JOY that is ours when we choose to RECEIVE. Fill us with desire to fear NO MORE, so we will make room for what we need to welcome JOY. YOU are our strength! Thank you, Lord. We give YOU our praise in ALL things. Amen
