For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

God plans in the timing of His will and wants us to feel His guiding. He longs for us to receive what He chooses to provide and discover HOW He handles our days. He's with us, but sometimes we become too busy to notice HOW He orchestrates our lives.

God arms us with everything we NEED. He sets the stage for what’s to come and guides us toward fulfillment. He grows our faith as we learn to TRUST and recognize who gives us wisdom. He helps us remember His promises as we soak in His WORD and PRAY.

As we begin to focus on the goodness of NOW, we will find PEACE in the present and learn to hold it in our hearts. Because of Christ, we will cope with HOPE when challenges move us in a different direction.

Soon, we’ll be turning the page on the last day of the year and need to reminded “there are better things ahead than what we leave behind.” ~C.S. Lewis  God wants us to embrace the JOY of new beginnings and TRUST He has a plan for our lives.

It’s time to leave fear behind and step in the JOY of Jesus! We will experience timely rewards when we walk in obedience and discover how it feels to be gratefully led. January will be here soon! We should take time to consider what God has done to help us witness His faithfulness.

God will arm us with everything we NEED to face each day with confidence and remember who WILL handle ALL things. There will never be a day without the promise of His LOVE. We must always be ready to welcome the newness of change and never forget GOD is the ONE who provides the greatest rewards.

Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 NIV

Dear God, thank you for opportunities to grow in Your greatness. Thank you for ALL You provide. Help us remember who plans our days and gives purpose to our lives. You are mighty, holy and worthy of praise! Help us find PEACE in the PRESENT and open our eyes to what needs to be discovered. As we prepare to welcome another New Year, help us not waste a moment worrying about what’s to come. Fill us with JOY in the journey as we follow Jesus and draw closer to You. Thank you, Lord! Thank you. Amen
