May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15: 13

We attend holiday functions, purchase gifts and exhaust ourselves in celebration of a day that passes too quickly. When all is said and done, there’s often an empty feeling when we have to say, “goodbye” to Christmas.

God sent His Son for MORE than one day of recognition. Often, we forget God prepares us to welcome Him EVERY day of our lives. Jesus came to bring hope, peace and joy to our hearts. God provided a miracle when Jesus came to earth! He knows our hearts.  We DON’T have to say “goodbye” to the present of His presence in our lives.

God helps us understand how to joyfully anticipate the gift of Jesus. He helps us find strength in EVERY situation. He guides us toward His greatness when we choose to follow Him. He shows us where to find PEACE and recognize we don't have to live without it.

Abundant JOY isn’t found under a Christmas Tree. It's not packaged for only a day to make us feel happy. God’s love is everlasting! It's up to us to open our hearts wide enough and faithfully choose to receive. 

God will set the stage for what’s to come. He knows the needs of His children. We must be willing to TRUST in Him, BELIEVE in the power of His love and NEVER forget who WILL handle our days. We mustn't be sad to say “goodbye” to Christmas! “Joy to the world, the Lord is come“. Let us praise Him for His everlasting presence and be joyful! He is near. He is with us EVERY day as we celebrate Jesus.  

Dear God, thank you for Christmas and the time we’ve enjoyed with family and friends. Thank you for providing so much MORE than just one day to celebrate Jesus! Help us humble our hearts so we will treasure the gift of Your amazing LOVE and remember why we will never have to live without the fullness of PEACE, HOPE and JOY. Thank you for the gifts of Your greatness and what it means to be loved by YOU. Amen
