And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 7 NIV

God fills us with STRENGTH. As we discover His love is forever, He helps us discover what happens when we faithfully TRUST and be still in the presence of PEACE. While we are cradled in care, we begin to feel His nudging and notice how He holds our hearts.  

PEACE is something we need. Some say it's found where there is no trouble. But we know that’s not true. The Bible says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV

We will feel burdened by challenges we face and deal with thoughts of doubt. But God will help us find beauty in the blessing of now. He will equip us to focus on Jesus and find HOPE as we remember He is HERE, waiting to help us balance our thoughts.

God wants us to surrender what is holding us back from breathing in the fullness of His LOVE and embracing gratitude. The world will continue to disappoint, but the PEACE of Christ will help us diminish fear as we remain faithful and TRUST. Jesus overcame the cross. He knows our desires to be lifted.

“Peace will be found on the path paved with prayer.” These are precious words to remind us what to do when we’re not feeling strong. Prayer WILL fuel our souls with what we need to be reminded how it feels to be held in His holiness. 

Sitting with Christ will ready us to rise as He prepares us to follow Him. PEACE will prevail as we BELIEVE in God’s promises, find wisdom in His Word and bravely move ahead. He knows our hearts. The fruit of that righteousness will be PEACE; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32: 17 NIV

God will help us discover the benefit of being quiet and still. He will set the stage for what's to come with mercy that’s new each and every day. When we pray for PEACE, He WILL help us find it. JOY will come as we journey with Christ and experience how it feels to humbly welcome gratitude. 

Dear God, thank you for moments to be held by Jesus, lifted by the power of His love and readied to rise with peace. While we’re cradled in care, help us feel the power of Your strength. You know what we need to welcome JOY in the journey and surrender anxious thoughts. Thank you for letting us sit in Your presence and recognize it is the most beautiful place to welcome perfect PEACE. Thank you for knowing what we need to blessed. We will find beauty in ALL You provide to remind us who's in charge of ALL things and honor You with ALL of our love. Thank you, amazing Father! Amen
