Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 NLT 

God longs for us to appreciate the gifts of His creation. But sometimes, we become too busy to stand in His presence with AWE. We neglect to take time to notice ALL He has done by the power of His authority. 

"God spoke light into existence and separated it from the dark." He created the sky, land, plants and trees. God created the sun, moon and placed the stars in the sky. Water and sky animals were created next. And on the sixth day, land animals and people were created by Him. 

On the seventh day, God rested in knowing His creation was complete. We need to reminded what He has done to provide everything we need to be blessed! The Maker of every living thing wants us to welcome the beauty of His world and glorify Him with gladness! 

What we see will be determined by whether or not we take time to look and open the eyes of our hearts with gratitude. 

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well” Psalm 139:13-14

Dear God, thank you for our beautiful world and ALL You have done to bless us with timely rewards. Forgive us when we forget YOU are the Maker of every living thing. Open the eyes of our hearts so we will recognize the power of Your authority and be blessed by Your presence with AWE! Help us never stop looking for glimpses of good. Humble our hearts with the gifts of Your greatness and help us remember we were created to glorify YOU! Thank you, Lord! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Amen
