As we allow ourselves to consider what’s ahead, we must remember God prepares us for His great purpose. He readies us to do His good work. God wants us to see ourselves as He lovingly see us, capable and qualified to serve Him with a heart of passion for what He will provide. Nan© 2010
Often we don’t feel worthy of God’s love. We focus on our weakness. We forget we are strengthened as we walk with Him, and faithfully allow Him to help us grow. We become convinced we are not good enough, or strong enough to complete the tasks God has laid before us.
There is benefit in understanding we are children of God. When we know Him as loving Father, we become aware of His desire for us to succeed. God does not want us to struggle with feelings of doubt in the abilities He has given. He provides opportunities for us to realize we can do ALL things through Him. Why would we want anything less than what God wants for us, as He uses us for His glory?
We are who we are becoming. Each day of life provides hope that we will discover more about ourselves, and realize how very much we are valued by God. We are His prized possessions and He loves us.
"In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will." Ephesians 1:11
God is near and He loves YOU,

I really like this verse that you share in your column to the left. I wanted you to know how much that verse means to me. God fills my heart with joy more than............anything else. I did not know where to comment on it so I hope it is okay here.
Have a day that makes you smile, knowing the joy of the Lord is your strength.
I'm always glad to read your comments Tex. There really isn't a way to include them in the columns, so feel free to comment here. Yes, I loved that verse. May God bless you as you continue to walk with Him.ReplyDelete
In the world in which we live, love has a way of dying even with our deepest commitments and best efforts. Many people experience "ending love" and then feel a bitterness of heart.ReplyDelete
It is good to be reminded that God's love is endless............how fortunate we are to have His love no matter what. When human love disappoints, God's love carries us.
