Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Matthew 11:24

God is blessed when we communicate with Him. Our loving Father of grace longs to have a living relationship with His children. He teaches to trust in the faithfulness of His love and guides us as we welcome His perfect peace.  

God hears our prayers. And, when we humble our hearts and make our requests known, He responds in His time and for His great purpose. But sometimes, we become impatient. We count the seven little prayers we have already spoken and wonder why we must pray some more…

  

When God grows us in His love, He teaches to be patient. And in moments of wonder, He provides instructions about His will. He leads us where we find strength to persevere and shows us how to be led to a place of calm.  

God leads us to a place of peace, when we seek Him, surrender our doubt, love Him as Lord of our lives and put our hope in Him. He finds the way to remind us; there are never too many prayers. And at the end of the day, He helps us realize why we should not be counting…

Seven little prayers lead us closer to the Savior. And they leave room for more! When we have learned to commune with Him, we will not worry about the number of times we have prayed. God will nurture the relationship He desires and He WILL respond to our needs. He will lead us to a prayer of praise when we have learned to trust. And, He will show us why reward will always come, when we seek Him with a humble heart. 

Dear God, Thank you for moments to be led by Your faithfulness. Forgive us when we become impatient as we wait to be guided by You. We will love You with all of our hearts and welcome Your presence of peace. And, we will not worry about how many prayers are needed to express our desires. You already know our every thought!   Amen
