There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV
Summer will soon disappear. Leaves of green will display beautiful colors and remind us cooler weather is on the way. Fall is a favorite season for many. It brings opportunities for change of pace and sets the stage for what’s to come.
Often,
we look ahead and anticipate what God will provide. But, sometimes we
become leery and look back where we’ve known content. We forget to trust
in the One who wants to prepare us to step ahead and welcome the changes in
our lives.
We ARE capable of dealing with change. God helps us through the ups, downs and in between. In significant moments of purpose, He changes our hearts and helps us recognize we are led by His grace. He opens our eyes to receive Him and helps us understand why we must not worry about what will happen next.
If we accept the many changes which occur in our lives, God will remind us He has a plan. He will guide us through our days and prepare us to receive the strength of His holiness. And, He will help us remember why we must always TRUST in Him.
Dear God, Thank you for preparing us for the seasons of our lives. You know how to prepare us for what’s to come. Help us find strength in You, while we wait to be guided by Your will and readied to remember how very much we are loved. Amen
