“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14 NIV

Mary waited for the Lord. While she lovingly prepared for the birth of our Savior, she allowed God to guide her. And, even in the midst of worry and wonder, He showed His presence in her life. He led her on a path of purpose and readied her to welcome the Savior. 

God blesses the heart of our faithfulness. He humbles us. He nurtures the strength of His Spirit and provides peace to welcome calm. He guides us by the power of His will and reminds us to keep on going… And, He teaches us to be patient while we WAIT. 

Sometimes, we will walk a path unknown. But, God will guide and provide for our days. “If He leads us to it, He will lead us through it.” He will cover us in love and help us remember how it feels to persevere. And, He will ready us to receive the Savior, while we patiently WAIT on Him. 

God will guide us, even when we cannot see what waits to be discovered. He will lead us through the unfamiliar territory in our lives. And, He will remind us why we will never walk alone. 

Dear God, Thank you for Christmas and HOPE which comes from YOU. Open our hearts, so we will make room for Jesus. Calm us with the breath of heaven and cover us in Your holiness, so we will find strength as we trust in YOU. Amen
