“Be still and know that I am God!” Psalm 46:10

God gently speaks to our hearts and longs for us to take time to listen. He guides us by His will and reminds us we are worthy to commune with Him. He calls us by name and prepares us to understand how He will speak to our hearts. 

God speaks through the Bible, through others and through our circumstances. He speaks through the Holy Spirit and allows us to recognize the depth of His holiness. He calls us to listen and longs for us to embrace the quiet moments which cannot disturb the stillness of our souls. 

In opportunities of reflection, we begin to understand what He's trying to say. If we trust in God, He will prepare us to be led and receive what He wants us to discover. But, we must take time to be still and listen. It will make a difference to our loving God who patiently waits to be heard. 

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence in our lives. Help us seek You with a faithful, listening heart. Allow us to hear what You will whisper, when our souls become silenced by Your love. Fill us with peace and help us recognize when You have spoken. You are mighty and worthy of our time. And, You are worthy of ALL of our love. Amen
