So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! Psalm 31: 24

God calms us. He provides courage when we need to be reminded to put our HOPE in Him. He handles our lives and allows grace to cover the wounds of our weakness. In tender moments of need, He bandages us with the power of His everlasting love.

STRENGTH comes when we’re ready to believe God is BIGGER than our fear. He has the ability to remove the stress in our lives and show us how to overcome. When we totally trust, He shows how to seek Him with all of our hearts and prayerfully welcome His presence of His peace. In gentle moments of truth, God humbles our hearts for Jesus.

It’s humbling to think about what Christ did for EACH one of us. We will never know such suffering. The pain of the cross provides HOPE for eternal salvation and demonstrates the remarkable love of our Savior.

Some will not humble their hearts or welcome what makes a difference in their lives. They will turn away from the One who knows how to HEAL. They will continue to walk in fear and settle for disappointment in their days. But, those who believe in the power of Christ will seek Him. They will learn to surrender doubt, prayerfully absorb God’s Word and place their HOPE in Him.

But, He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12: 9 NIV We must never be afraid to acknowledge why we need Christ. His love will make us STRONG!

Dear God, Thank you for showing us how to find STRENGTH in You. Help us surrender fear, so we will make room for peace to dwell where it belongs. We will love You with ALL of our hearts and wait to be filled with courage and calm. And, we will put our HOPE in You, as we learn how it feels to  TRUST. Amen
