“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NIV
Sometimes, we become impatient and restless. We wonder why it takes so long to move ahead. We have trouble feeling guided in our lives. But, during times of doubt, Jesus finds the way to demonstrate the power of His presence. He grows our faith and helps us learn to totally trust. He opens the eyes of our hearts, so we will clearly see what needs to be noticed. And, He fills us with the offering of His amazing love.
There are important
lessons to learn while we wait to welcome what God provides. He humbles
our hearts and draws us close. He removes our doubt and provides
the peace we need to remember who’s in charge of ALL things. He
reassures us He is near. And, in moments to grow the love of our
faithfulness, He helps us understand who is working in our lives.
When we faithfully recognize God is handling ALL things, He will show us how it feels to totally trust. It won’t matter how long we have to wait, if we remain faithful. In the timing of His will, God will help us see glimpses of what’s ahead. He will help us remember who has planned the moments of our days. He will give us time to prepare for what’s to come and ready us to remember; strength WILL come if we put our trust in Him and remain faithful while we wait.
Dear God, Thank you for reminding us You are in charge of our days. Help us learn to trust in You, so we will find strength as we’re led by Your greatness. Open our hearts for all You provide and help us learn to be peacefully patient. Amen
