Trust
in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
Sometimes, we wake to overwhelming thoughts that consume us. We become weary and have trouble feeling the presence of peace. We forget how to manage our days and need to be reminded how to faithfully TRUST.
When God opens our eyes, He allows us to feel the depth of His holiness, before we choose to rise. He invites us to prayerfully seek Jesus and recognize His guiding in our lives. He fills us with everything we need to welcome His greatness and find solid strength in Him.
When we begin the day in prayer, God fills us with His peace. He arms us with everything we need to step ahead. He sets the stage with the power of His love and reminds us we don’t have to figure out life on our own. He helps us learn to be FAITHFUL.
God loves us! We must trust in Him and surrender the worry of our wonder. He will use us for His purpose. He will help us do what needs to be done! He will set our feet on solid ground and give us the tools we need to keep on going...And, He will help us accomplish great things!
He will make room for us to see the gifts of His greatness. God will demonstrate the power of His plan. He will remove obstacles which stand in the way, so we will know where to walk with Jesus. He will reveal His will.
God will remind us who’s in charge of ALL things. He will guide and provide for our days. He WILL make the pathway straight. And, He will show us how it feels to embrace the blessing of a grateful heart.
Dear God, Thank you for waking us to another day! You have opened our eyes to remember who’s in charge of ALL things. Help us find HOPE in Your presence of peace. Show us how it feels to surrender our fear and welcome a heart of TRUST. Arm us with the power of Your love, as we offer prayers of our praise. Guide us, Lord and help us manage what’s to come. We will love you all the days of our lives, and serve You with a grateful heart. And, we will choose to ALWAYS remain FAITHFUL. Amen
