Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12: 12 

Depression hides in layers of wonder and often brings worry and shame. It is the uninvited beast who robs the soul of what is good. It seldom allows strength to welcome calm and slowly steals the heart of finding perfect peace. 

Many of us are able to cope with the way we feel. We deal with anxious thoughts and are able to keep on going... We find a place of calm and gratefully welcome JOY. But others cannot find what waits to be discovered. It becomes hard to welcome joy when fear grows deep inside. 

Proverbs 12: 25 says, “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.” MKJV God calls us to care for one another and support those who need to know the love of Christ. God can break the chains that bind! He can help us share the strength of Jesus and help others deal with fear in their lives. 

"Fear is a liar!" It is the extreme opposite of faith. "Faith is what allows us to step on the soil of our destiny.” God can show us how to rejoice in HOPE, be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer. Romans 12: 12 We must be strong and courageous. God IS with us wherever we go. Read Joshua 1:9 And we can do ALL things through Him who gives us strength. Philippians 4: 13

As we begin to understand the heart of brokenness, God allows us to see how He’s working in our lives. He takes away the blinders and removes the twisted lies. He allows us to see ourselves as He sees us; capable and able to do great things. He prepares us to step ahead in confidence when we learn to manage how we feel inside. 

God will renew us with the power of His love. He will show us how to surrender our fear. He will help us remember who's in charge of ALL things. And He WILL handle our days! He will heal our hearts and make us whole. We must never underestimate His ability to totally change our lives! He is God and He loves us! 

God WILL bless us with His never ending love. We must faithfully believe He WILL take care of our needs. He will guide us to a place of peace, when we have been strengthened with thoughts of good. He will lift us to His arms of HOPE and allow us to see glimpses of what's ahead. 

God has the power to remove what's holding us back from enjoying what He provides. He wants us to have an abundant life of faithful trust. He wants to take care of His children. "We must never doubt and unknown future to a known God." He will pull us from the doubt of despair and allow us to see how it feels to breathe in wholeness. 

He will take away feelings of failure and provide HOPE for the future. Ask God to deliver you to a place of calm. Ask Him to squelch your fear. Prayerfully seek Him! Faithfully BELIEVE He will destroy the beast that dwells where he doesn't belong. God is powerful, mighty and true! He will strengthen your love for Him and fill you FULL of everything you need to remember how very much you are loved.
 
Dear God, Thank you for the love of Your faithfulness. Forgive us when we allow anxiety to fuel our fear. Help us surrender what holds us back, when we’re burdened from the worry of our wonder. Show us how to examine our hearts, so we will experience the depth of Your love and remember we are not alone. Give us strength to fight the awful beast and help us battle depression in our lives. We have been magnificently made! Help us feel the strength of Your love. Remove what is stealing our joy and lead us where we will see the gifts of Your greatness. We will patiently wait to be led to a place of calm and find comfort as you work to make us whole. We will gratefully love You all of our days and find peace as we learn how to welcome Your awesome JOY. We will trust in the power of Your mercy and find hope in the gift of Your amazing grace. And, we will not forget to praise You for Your goodness in our lives. Amen
