The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28: 7 

God carries us through our days. He orchestrates the rhythm of our lives. And when we feel His presence of strength, He pours peace where love will dwell. He provides melodies of purpose, as we open our hearts in praise. And when we are humbled by gifts of grace, He fills us with prayers of thankfulness. 

God is worthy of praise! He is worthy of our love! When we prayerfully seek Him, He handles the distractions in our lives. When we’re quiet and still, we feel the harmony of His holiness. He allows us to recognize what it means to be faithful. In quiet moments of surrender, He meets us where we are. He fills us with His love and humbles our hearts for Jesus.

Christ prepares us for songs of praise, but sometimes we’re not ready to sing. We miss opportunities to be blessed by the One who leads us to the Father. We neglect to seek His holiness or understand how it feels to be grateful. We forget to simply pray. 

Something wonderful happens when we take time to thank God for ALL He has done. He opens our hearts to TRUST! He leads us where we realize how much we have been blessed and He reminds us to love Him even more…

We don’t have to worry if we can’t sing in tune or choose a perfect song. ❤️ There are many ways to honor God with our love. When He fills us full of thankfulness, He will respond when we make a joyful noise. He will fill us with peace in His presence and show us how it feels to embrace a grateful heart. 

Dear God, Thank you for the power of love. YOU help us understand how we have been blessed. Forgive us when we forget to begin our prayers in praise for ALL You have done. Help us seek You in quiet moments when distractions will not rob our joy. We will share the songs of our hearts as we make a joyful noise and remember how very lucky we are to known as YOURS. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
