Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

God lovingly created us to serve Him with a grateful heart. He is in charge of days. The Father of mercy and grace readies us to rise. He opens our eyes to discover His presence of peace. And in moments to feel His power of strength, He helps us recognize our own.

Sometimes, we don’t feel strong. Fear robs us of content. We struggle with worry and forget how it dominates our lives. We have trouble focusing on what is good. But, in moments of need, God finds the way to reach us. He opens our hearts for Jesus. He reminds us why it’s okay to admit that we’re weak.

Jesus knows our hearts. He readies us to recognize what needs to be surrendered, before we find strength of our own. He sets the stage for good to come and teaches us to be patient. And, when we have been humbled by the need to love Him more, He teaches how to TRUST.

We must trust in the power of His love. God will remove what’s holding us back from finding joy. He has a plan for our days. He will guide and provide for His children. If we pray and remain faithful, He will remove the fear. He will lead us where calm is found, if we believe in His power to save and gratefully remember who’s in charge of our days.

God will give us PEACE! He will arm us with everything we need to recognize the love of His faithfulness. He will change our hearts and use us for His glory. When He has prepared us to be good and faithful servants, doubt WILL diminish. Fear will never dwell where PEACE prevails. God will not allow it! He is good! He WILL make us much, much stronger, if we ask and believe!

Dear God, Thank you for Your everlasting love. Thank you for Jesus! Forgive us when we focus on worries and forget to trust in You. Help us find strength to remember who breaks the chains that bind. And help us never forget why You are so much bigger than our fear. You really do know what is best for our lives! Amen
