Sometimes we become lost in the shuffle as we spin our wheels and try to move ahead. We race swiftly but often forget where we’re headed. We work hard to keep on going, but quickly become exhausted in what needs to be done. We worry about what will happen next and forget God has a plan of purpose for our lives.
When we try to make it on our own, we often become frustrated and weary. We forget how it feels to embrace the gift of calm. But God knows what we need and He knows why we need it. In moments to witness the blessing of TRUTH, He humbles our hearts for Him! He helps us examine our lives and remember who is handling our days. He allows us to feel the depth of His holiness and witness the power of grace.
When God asks, “How’s it going?” we must respond in TRUTH and humble our hearts. If we seek His presence, He will help us see what is holding us back from finding PEACE. He will bring JOY for what’s been missing and help us recognize why we NEED the Savior. Jesus will help us examine our lives and allow faith to flourish. He will help us respond to the tugging of our hearts so we will surrender to Him and understand why we need to grow.
We could be standing on the threshold of something great! Jeremiah 29: 11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” We are lucky to have a Father who blesses us in the timing of His will. He knows the value of our worth and sees how hard we work. As we learn to trust, He will reveal His will and help us see the reward of our faithfulness.
The greatest accomplishments will never come from spinning our wheels. But God WILL grow us by the goodness of grace, if we learn to TOTALLY TRUST and take time to step ahead. He will open our hearts to His guiding when we choose to obey. JOY will come in surrender, if we release what’s holding us back and gratefully step in His greatness. God will help us experience how it feels to have an abundant life of good. He will place PEACE in our hearts as we work for Him and allow ourselves to be led to a place of wholeness.
Dear God, Thank you for showing us how to discover the power of Your love. Forgive us when we forget who has a plan for our days. Help us examine our lives, so we will recognize why we need You. You are mighty, holy and true! Thank you for preparing us to step ahead so we will leave worries behind. Help us hear Your voice of TRUTH and recognize Your guiding. We will surrender to You and wait to be grown in the timing of Your will. And we will welcome perfect PEACE as You grow us. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for knowing what’s best for our lives. Help us be patient as we’re led on this journey. And open our hearts to experience the blessing of abundant JOY. Amen
