Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1: 16-17 NIV

We’re not always ready for change in our lives. Sometimes we feel unprepared and threatened by what’s to come. And when we need to be reminded who’s in charge of ALL things, God helps us remember He is the source of our strength. In times of worry and wonder, He helps us discover who is in charge of our days.

The Maker of every living thing cares for what He has created. He knows how to care for us! He works for the good even though we don’t know what is coming and rewards those who are faithful. He readies us to step ahead and find purpose in what He provides.

God knows the plans He has for our days. He longs for us to surrender fear and trust in the power of His greatness. Our plans may not stay the same. But God will know how to manage change in the seasons of our lives. He will open our hearts for the One who will help us stay on track. And He will show us how it feels to be led by the Savior.

The Bible says Jesus is the same today and forever. The course of our journeys will shift. There will be times of  change in our lives. But the steadfast love of the Lord will continue. His mercies will not end. Lamentations 3:22 ESV Christ will teach us through God’s Word, bring calm to our weakness and lead us to the Father. We must surrender our doubt and faithfully believe God will take care of those He loves.

God know’s what He’s doing. He will guide and provide every day of our lives. He will humble our hearts for Jesus and help us understand why we need to love Him more; especially in the changes of our lives.

Dear God, Thank you for the power of love. You give us strength to remember who’s in charge of ALL things. We will put our trust in You and welcome the peace of Jesus, as we wait for what’s to come. And we WILL praise Your constant presence in our lives. Thank you for providing everything we need to handle the many changes in our lives. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
