So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Jesus wants us to love one another. He came to teach that God is good. He set an example of how we are to live our lives with a heart of compassion and awareness of those who need to know the power of His greatness. He wants us to build each other up, but first we must take time to seek Him and welcome the presence of His peace in our lives.

Sometimes we become too busy to recognize the needs of others. Routines affect the pace of our lives and we may feel overwhelmed. But God wants us to take time to feel the strength of His presence. He longs for us to witness His gift of peace. He sets the stage for us to find the strength we need. And He opens our eyes to understand why we must care for the needs of others.

When we welcome the peace of the Savior, God opens our hearts for joy. He slows us down to clearly see the heart of those who need to know God IS with us. The Bible says, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

We won't always understand how God will use us to show compassion to the world, but He WILL use us! He will help us share kindness when we faithfully respond to the needs of others. And He will bless us.“May glory be given to God in the highest heaven! And may peace be given to those He is pleased with on earth!” Luke 2:14 NIRV

Let us remember to LOVE and ENCOURAGE one another. God will help us find the way to show how much we care. It WILL truly make a difference in the lives of others and our own. We WILL be blessed.

Dear God, Thank you for the love of Your faithfulness. Forgive us when we become to care for others. Open our eyes for what will be discovered when we find peace in the presence of Your love. We will be humbled by Your greatness as You handle our days. Help us become "instruments of Your peace" as we learn to encourage and respond to those around us. We will love you all of our days and patiently wait to witness the power of Your love. Thank you for helping us remember; when we take time to care about others, we are caring about YOU. Thank you Lord. Thank you! Amen
